TAAL

indian food, yummmmeeeeeeee!
altho it's hot & spicy, ther's choices ther for ppl like me who can only deal with very mild spices. and this place in fullerton, california, is fair in price and great in taste! service is also quite good.

---------------
ok, this dining club event occured at the end of jan 2005, i'm really sorry about the late late updating of this blog... but it's never too late right?
---------------
i've here the list of things we ordered, tho it's sort of hard to read.
we hv a guest this time to our dining club, William joined us from taiwan, an old classmate of mine from art center. was good to c him after so many years.
the very important part of the food here are the sauces. and in what we've ordered, they were all very very yummy. i think we all cleared our plates, tho w/doggy bags to go for nxt day lunches as well!

i ordered the rose yogurt drink and tht tasted very interesting. like rose water from the morrocan restaurant we wnt to b4. it totally helped with taming of the spicy burns in my mouth as well!

this is the look of us, stuffed to the brim! empty table, a bit of a mess at the end, but happily satisfied.

this dining club outting was led by FireSpice, in which he started the whole experience with a clue and whoever guessed the restaurant wins a free dinner! n i did!!! by lucky chance. was a tough one, he had to give extra clues. but these r my only pictures, other Spice members took more fotos, n hv more info, etc. so i will let them fill in the rest of the blog.
the entertainment after dinner was fun too, with the professional belly dancers. ther's also dancing for us too. it was a thoroughtly fun evening.
i'm just sorry it took me so long to put up the fotos (feb_2005)... :P

SUSHI SHIBUCHO

this is one of the best places in OC to enjoy the classic sushi. it's small and cozy. the chef/owner is a bit eccentric and strict on wht u can order ther. don't even try to ask if they have california roll and stuff like tht. he may kick u outta ther. what is popular is their chirashi box. for a few dollars more, u can get the deluxe version, u'll get uni, fatty tuna, n all the goodies. personally, i go ther cuz i love their homemade wasabi and ginger slices! i can never finish their box on my own, the deluxe version.
lunch is the best time to go, not crowded n price is good. dinner is a bit pricy.
but it isn't open for lunch everyday. so call ahead.
