$2.50 Thai food extravaganza

During the drive to Palm Desert last month we listened to KCRW's "Good Food", a program that discuss the latest food news in Southern California, I came across the latest in Thai food trend in the SF Valleyarea; $2.50 per dish Thai food. We visited "Bua Siam", one of the restaurant pioneered this new style of eating, on Sherman Way. Basically, there are about 30-40 items on the menu that are $2.50 each. Serving are small but that is the idea. A group of people can easily sample 10-12 different entrees. Kinda like Thai Tapas bar. I am completing this Blog 2 month after we visited the place so I can't recall what we ordered but check out the pictures.
